I'm thinking it would be ok. If it doesn't smell or taste bad and is within its use by period I think it must just be the air settling from being shaken

I remember this! Same thing with DD2 it's going back a while. S26 gold didn't agree with her S26 original had more air in it that's the noise. We ended up using a thickener from memory.

I think it can take awhile to settle. When I make up the milk at work it can take a good half hour or so to settle properly. I think if it's a new tin and in expiry it's probably going to be ok.
